Soft and So Cute!

Ever since this sex shop I trust added the Leaf towels, I’ve been eyeing them. I wanted a couple of them to put in my bathroom as washcloths or hand towels, depending on how large they ended up being. Unfortunately, every time I wanted to order them they were out of stock. Finally, a couple of weeks ago, I got my hands on two of them.
The towel comes packaged very simply. It has a brown paper ring wrapped around it. Other than that, there is no packaging. The back of the paper ring lists the manufacturer and Leaf’s web site. It does state that these towels come free with the purchase of any Leaf product, though it doesn’t go on to say that Leaf makes vibrators. Unless someone checks out the web site listed on there, they wouldn’t know. You can remove the ring and replace it with a plain paper band if you plan on gifting these and don’t want them to say they were free.

The Leaf towel is made out of 70% cotton and 30% bamboo. Bamboo is a fast replenishing natural resource and is becoming more and more common in household products. A lot of manufacturers are releasing towels, bedding, and clothing made at least partially with bamboo. Some research states that bamboo has antibacterial properties. Since the content varies from fabric to fabric, the amount of bamboo used in these may not be enough to have noticeable antibacterial properties.
Right out of the box, these feel somewhat soft. They’re softer than cheap towels, but not as soft as the super plush expensive towels. I think they are soft enough to be suitable for most people. If you’d like your towel to be softer, you can add some fabric softener to your load when you wash it. The material has a diagonal stripe design. It’s entirely white; the material is just patterned into diagonal stripes. The back of the towel has the same pattern.

The towel measures 13 ¼ inches by 12 ½ inches. Along one side is a 1 inch stripe meant for presentation. In one corner, on the strip, Leaf’s logo is embroidered onto the towel. “Leaf” is in gray with a small green leaf over top of it.
While they are called a Leaf towel, they’re kind of in the middle (size-wise) of wash cloths and hand towels. All of the wash cloths we have are a few inches smaller, while our hand towels are a bit longer than the Leaf towel.
They towel can be used really however you’d like. If you don’t want to use one in the bathroom, you can use one as a rag in the kitchen, garage, your car, or wherever. The Leaf towel can also be used for clean up after sex or to clean off your sex toys. It is a bit linty right out of the box, so you’ll want to wash it before using it to clean or dry silicone toys, since they’ll be covered in lint. It can even be used to wrap around glass toys to keep them from breaking.
As a regular towel, this can be cleaned however you clean other towels and wash cloths. I personally do a big load of whites and wash everything in hot water. I then throw it all into the dryer to dry. These can be hand washed and hung up to dry if you’d prefer. I do not recommend washing it with colors otherwise you may have some colors bleed into the towel.
I really like the Leaf towel. It’s soft enough for me and looks nice. I like that it’s a bit bigger than wash cloths, so I can use it for something else if I want to. The price is great. Most retailers in my area have lower quality wash cloths priced at $4 each. These towels are $4.99 each. If you’re lucky, you’ll get one free with the purchase of a Leaf vibe. That promotion doesn’t seem to be very often, unfortunately.
I give the Leaf towel 5 out of 5 stars.
