Fits Perfectly If You're a Sapling

Become a goddess wearing sexy and erotic lingerie from EdenFantasys

After having had a bit of experience with some of the brand Music Legs, I decided to order the opaque polka dot mini dress. I’m a huge fan of polka dots. I also like lingerie that has just a bit of lace on it. I have the tiger print mini dress by Music Legs as well. When I first looked at this mini dress, it looked almost like an exact copy of the tiger print mini dress. I purchased this piece with that expectation.

As with other Music Legs lingerie, this mini dress comes in a small paperboard envelope. The front and back show pictures of a model wearing the dress. On the back is the sizing information. Since this is one size fits most, sizing goes by height and weight. The dress should fit if you are between 5’ and 5’10” tall and weigh between 100 and 175 pounds. The material content is 100% nylon. Care instructions are: hand wash in cold water, do not machine wash or bleach, hang to dry, do not iron.

The polka dot mini dress is made almost entirely of nylon. This is the same material used to make pantyhose and stockings. This material is very soft against skin. While the box and the description say this dress is opaque, it isn’t. Right out of the box, the material is almost completely opaque. When it is put on it will stretch quite a bit. The more the material stretches, the less opaque it is. On me, it was pretty see-through. Once the dress is removed, it will return to its original shape.

The white polka dots over the material are painted on, probably through the same method that images are printed on t-shirts. The white lace trim at the bottom and over the top in the front, measuring 3 ½ inches, is pretty cheap and scratchy. There is a ruffled ribbon trimmed elastic band running along the back of the dress. This runs up the side of the lace trim and becomes the halter straps. Each halter strap measures 15 inches long and can stretch up to 22 inches. Between the breasts there is a cheap-looking ribbon bow. This bow is not really reinforced or made of a good material. While mine has not begun to unravel yet, I can see it doing so pretty soon if it is handled roughly.

Measurements (Unstretched/Stretched):
Length (includes lace trim): 26/43
Bust: 18/34
Waist: 14/34
Hip: 16/36

EdenFantasys currently does not have a size chart for Music Legs, so I had to look it up elsewhere.

Size Chart (OSFM):
Bust: 32 – 38
Cup: A – C
Waist: 23 – 29
Hip: 34 – 40

My Measurements:
Bust (under/over): 32/34
Cup: B
Waist: 27
Hip: 35

I feel the size chart provided for one size lingerie is not very accurate. Comparing the maximum I can stretch this piece to the measurements provided, some areas run a bit smaller than they should be. I can only get the hip area to stretch to a maximum of 36 inches around, while this piece is quoted as fitting up to a 40 inch hip. I’m 5’8”, 140 pounds, and I wear a dress size 5/6. I honestly don’t see this dress fitting anyone more than size 7. Even then, it may be a bit too tight to be comfortable.

Since this dress doesn’t have any underwire or support other than the halter top, there is also concern for breast support. I do not think breasts larger than a smaller C or a B cup will fit into this.

When I first put this dress on, I could immediately tell it was much tighter than the tiger print mini dress. While the material is the same, they must have cut the material for this dress smaller than the tiger print dress. I did not like the way the halter top fit at all. It felt like the ties were cutting into my shoulders and chest too much. The lace felt scratchy and uncomfortable against my skin. I did not care for how the super tight fabric made me look. It accentuated every little flaw I had. My hip bones stick out a bit in the front. The tight fabric sat on them and made them look like a muffin top, which is something I absolutely hate. I did not care for how the nylon completely flattened my chest, either. If I wear this piece again I will be wearing a bra underneath. The length of this dress is about the only redeeming thing I can think of. It fell right below my butt, just as the photos on the product page showed. Unfortunately, moving around, even just a little, caused the dress to ride up.

There are very few people this dress will work for. I think if my body was a bit more toned looking I would look much better in it. As bitchy as it may sound, fake breasts (which most lingerie models seem to be sporting) would probably look much fuller, rather than squished, in this.

Overall, I really do not recommend purchasing this dress. For $20, there are much more flattering and comfortable garments that can be purchased.

I give the polka dot mini dress 1 out of 5 stars. It’s really cute looking. I really wish I could comfortably wear this and love it. Unfortunately, it’s very cheaply made and feels very uncomfortably to wear. It’s not flattering at all and would best be avoided.
